3 Ways To Breathe From Anxiety To Calm

If you've been struggling with anxiety, worry not. In this article, you will learn three effective breathing techniques that you can use to soothe anxiety symptoms.  

3-4-5 Breathing 

Breathing in and out through your nose:

Step 1- breathe in for 3

Step 2 - hold for 4

Step 3 - breathe out for 5

Repeat 3 times.

4-4-4-4 Breathing

Breathing in and out through your nose:

Step 1 - breathe in for 4

Step 2 - hold for 4

Step 3 - breathe out for 4

Step 4 - hold for 4

Repeat 3 times.

1-2 Breathing

Breathing in and out through your nose:

Step 1 - close your left nostril and breathe in for 4

Step 2 - close your right nostril and breathe out for 4

Step 3 - keep right nostril closed and breathe in for 4

Step 4 - close left nostril and breathe out for 4

Repeat 3 times.
